The identity of this prisoner, Mohammad Ansari Qeshlaq, son of Allahverdi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
According to an informed source, Mohammad Ansari, known as Mohammad Japoni, was arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. The report states that Mr. Ansari was hanged this morning in the courtyard of Tabriz Prison after the victim’s family refused to grant him clemency.
