Breathing in Confinement – Two students at the University of Chamran in the City of Ahvaz lost their lives: an 18-year-old student who was found hanged to death and a 19-year-old student whose body was found in a semi-finished building. “Distrust of the future and lack of enthusiasm has become a trend among students across the country,” said Director of Student Affairs at Chamran University in Ahvaz.

According to Radio Zamaneh, an 18-year-old biology student’s body was found hanged in the dormitory of Chamran University on Tuesday, December 3. On November 29, also, “R. Sh” a 19-year-old computer student from the City of Andimeshk, left the dormitory and the next day, his body was found in a semi-finished building in Bostan area.

In an interview with IlNA, Babak Mohammadian, Director of Student Affairs at Chamran University in Ahvaz, didn’t declare the cause of deaths as suicide. He, however, added that “previously also, 2 other suicide attempts had taken place in the dormitory of Chamran University, which didn’t result in death”.
