{"id":1121,"date":"2016-09-07T07:49:06","date_gmt":"2016-09-07T07:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/?p=1121"},"modified":"2017-04-19T07:53:38","modified_gmt":"2017-04-19T07:53:38","slug":"latif-hassani-sent-to-furlough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/ethnic-minorities\/latif-hassani-sent-to-furlough","title":{"rendered":"Latif Hassani Sent to Furlough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &#8211; Latif Hassani, political prisoner was sent on leave for 3 days.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report obtained by \u201cBreathing in Confinement,\u201d this Azerbaijani political prisoner was sent on leave for 3 days after more than a year of imprisonment in Raji Shahr prison in Karaj on September 7.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The political prisoner had gone on hunger strike since May 18, 2014, for 52 days to demand being transferred to a prison in his home town, Karaj, and suffers from several health problems.<\/p>\n<p>He had had an open heart surgery before the arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International in an urgent action on July 4, 2014, expressed their concern about the situation of this political prisoner and called for his immediate and unconditional release.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning, he was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment by Branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, on charge of forming an illegal group and propaganda against the regime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &ndash; Latif Hassani, political prisoner was sent on leave for 3 days.
