{"id":1293,"date":"2019-07-28T16:51:27","date_gmt":"2019-07-28T16:51:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/?p=1293"},"modified":"2019-08-27T17:29:54","modified_gmt":"2019-08-27T17:29:54","slug":"2-political-prisoners-transferred-to-womens-ward-of-evin-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/women\/2-political-prisoners-transferred-to-womens-ward-of-evin-prison","title":{"rendered":"2 political prisoners transferred to women\u2019s ward of Evin prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement \u2013 Two political prisoners have recently been transferred to the women\u2019s ward of Evin prison.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report obtained by Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran (PRLI), Bayan Ahmadi and Soheila Hejab have recently been transferred to this ward.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bayan Ahmadi was arrested in May 2019 in his husband\u2019s house and sentenced to 10 years in prison on charge of cooperation with one of the Kurdish opposition groups.<\/p>\n<p>She was pardoned and her sentence was reduced to 91 days and she will be released on 3 August 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Soheila Hejab had been sent to the women\u2019s ward once on 14 June 2019 but then taken to an unknown location on June 18<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>She was in an unknown detention facility until July 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &ndash; Two political prisoners have recently been transferred to the women&rsquo;s ward of Evin prison.
