Breathing in Confinement – Family members of a prisoner who is sentenced to death, have been called for the last visit at Lakan Prison in Rasht city.<\/p>\n
An inmate of Lakan Prison in Rasht, who has been previously arrested on the charge of murder, and so far failed to come to a settlement with the victim’s family members, is about to be executed.<\/p>\n

According to the “Breathing in Confinement “- the news organization of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran (PRLI), Mohsen Khojasteh from Astara City, is about to be hanged. This prisoner, who last year was arrested and sentenced to death on the charge of premeditated murder, has two children of 11 and 8. \u00a0In case of failure to settle with the victim\u2019s next of kins, he will face the death penalty on Thursday, October 31.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the last few days, Mohsen Khojasteh’s daughter and son along with their family members have been gathering in front of the victim’s house begging for a settlement. Up to this moment, however, the victim’s family members have rejected the settlement. Mohsen\u2019s 11-year-old daughter was pleading their consent while crying\u201d said an informed source to the Breathing in Confinement\u2019s reporter.<\/p>\n
