According to Mizan, after serving 8 years in prison in Aliabad-e- Katul County in Golestan province, an inmate sentenced to death, being pardoned by the victim\u2019s family, was spared from the execution.<\/p>\n
“Eight years ago, in a family scuffle, the man convicted of murder, had shot dead his brother-in-law by a BB gun rifle,” said Baqir Tabatabai, Aliabad-e- Katul County\u2019s revolutionary and public prosecutor.<\/p>\n
He added: ” After the verdict was released, upon the request of the victim\u2019s family, the sentence was about to be executed. Through the mediation of the members of the 7th Branch Council and Special Branch of the county\u2019s Peace and Conflict Resolution Council, the 51-year-old prisoner, accused of murder was pardoned by the victim\u2019s relatives.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
