According to the Center of Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, Rashid Nasserzadeh, an environmental activist, a journalist, and a\u00a0member\u00a0of Pishro Mountaineering Group was arrested on December 3, 2019, and was taken to an unknown location.<\/p>\n
He was arrested on his return from Iraq, on Piranshahr – Oshnouyeh Road.<\/p>\n
Mr. Nasserzadeh had also been arrested earlier on September 12, 2018, along with several other activists on the charge of taking part in a marketers\u2019 massive strike in protest against the execution of Zaniar Moradi, Loghman Moradi, and Ramin Hossein Panahi.\u00a0\u00a0The strike took place in the provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah and West Azerbaijan. A few hours later, however, Rashid Nasserzadeh was released on bail.<\/p>\n
