Breathing in Confinement – In the County of Kavar in Fars province, a prisoner sentenced to death on the charge of murder, after being pardoned by the victim\u2019s family, was rescued from execution.<\/p>\n
“After 8 years of hard efforts of the members of the second Branch of Dispute Resolution Council, as well as the local trustees, and after numerous meetings, finally consent of the victim\u2019s relatives was finally obtained,” IRIB news agency quoting head of Fars Dispute Resolution Council. Seyyed Abdul Mahdi Mousavi added: “After the case was filed in Kavar judiciary bureau in July 2011, and following the initial investigation by the judicial and law enforcement authorities, at the earliest possible time the defendant was arrested and confessed to the murder.”<\/p>\n
