Yousef Farhadi Babadi, an environmental activist from Shahr-e-Kord and one of the protesters against the water transfer project from Karun river, wrote on his Twitter account that the Branch 1 of Shahr-e-Kord Revolutionary Court had convicted him for his environmental activities. He has been sentenced to three months suspended imprisonment for “propaganda activities against the regime”.<\/p>\n

Mr. Babadi stated on his tweet that he was going to protest against the sentence.<\/p>\n
