Breathing in Confinement: On the night of July 5, 2021, people in at least 10 cities, gathered in front of the electricity offices and chanted slogans against the power shutdown. Over the last few days power shutdowns have been routinely happened for 2-3 times a day, lasting about 2 hours each time.<\/p>\n

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on the night of July 5, 2021, following frequent power shutdown, leading to serious problems in people’s lives, a group of people gathered in front of the electricity offices in various cities, to reveal their protest.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, “Breathing in Confinement” published a report on the crisis in people’s lives following the electricity cut-off in Iran. The report also contained a video of the death of patients in an ICU ward because of power shutdown.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Officials in the Islamic Republic, however, announced that the situation would continue until August. Which per se, increased the people\u2019s anger, provoking them to protest in various cities.<\/p>\n

Last night, a group of people in the City of Shar-e Rey gathered in front of the electricity office and chanted: “Incompetent minister! Resign! Resign!”<\/p>\n
