According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners ‘Rights League in Iran, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, Baktash Abtin, a member of the Iranian Writers’ Association, was sent on leave from Evin Prison.<\/p>\n
Mr. Abtin, has been serving his five-year sentence in Evin Prison for nearly a year. Despite his illness and despite Covid-19 outbreak, he has so far been denied leave.<\/p>\n
Baktash Abtin, along with two other members of the Iranian Writers’ Association, Reza Khandan (Mahabadi) and Keyvan Bazhen, have been detained in Evin Prison since October 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
