Breathing in Confinement: On Friday, March 11, 2022, some of the attendees at the memorial service for the late poet and writer, Samad Shabani, were arrested.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at least 20 attendees\u00a0 at the memorial service for the late poet and writer, Samad Shabani, were arrested in Karaj, after Security Police raided the ceremony.<\/p>\n
Among the detainees, Saha Mortezaei, Alireza Saghafi, Haleh Safarzadeh, Elham Salehi and Samaneh Moradi were transferred to an unknown location. The others however, were released a few hours later on bail.<\/p>\n
