According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, four students of Tabriz University have been suspended from education for 1 to 2 semesters by the disciplinary committee for “setting up an illegal gathering”.<\/p>\n
The names of these students are: Ehsan Pourkheiri, a philosophy student, for 2 semesters, Farhad Shafizadeh, a philosophy student, for 2 semesters, Esmaeil Mahmoudi, a philosophy\u00a0student, for 1\u00a0semester and Omid Ahmadi, a student of computer engineering, for 2\u00a0semester suspension of education.<\/p>\n
These students had attended a protest against the presence of Mohammad Saffar Harandi, former Minister of Culture at the University of Tabriz on 18th<\/sup> May 2014, and on 7th<\/sup> October 2014, also, attended the rally in support of Kobani, so that they were summed by the disciplinarian committee and have been convicted.<\/p>\n These provisions are now under appeal process due to these students complaining.<\/p>\n This is to say, earlier, also Farhad Shafizadeh on 11th<\/sup> September 2014, was arrested by intelligence agents and after 20 days he was released on bail of 100 million Tomans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Breathing in Confinement – Four students of Tabriz University have been suspended from education by the disciplinary committee of the University.
