Breathing in Confinement: Arshia Takdastan, an 18-year-old protester arrested during the nationwide uprising in Nowshahr, was sentenced to death by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court in Sari on charges of corruption on earth and Moharebeh (waging war against God).<\/p>\n

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Arshia Takdastan, 18, who was detained during the nationwide uprising in Nowshahr, was sentenced to death.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to the verdict issued by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court in Sari, Mr. Takdastan has been sentenced to death for the charges of corruption earth and Moharebeh (waging war against God).<\/p>\n
Mr. Takdastan, has also been sentenced to 5 years in prison for the charges of deceiving and inciting people to fight with each other with the intention of disrupting the country’s security, to one year in prison for the charge of propaganda against the regime and to 2 years in prison for insulting the Supreme Leader.<\/p>\n
