Breathing in Confinement- Hunger strike by political prisoners at Central Prison of Uremia is on its thirty third day.<\/p>\n
According to the report of \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u201d; political prisoners of ward 12 in Central Prison of Uremia just passed their 32nd<\/sup> day of their hunger strike while in early morning of 21st<\/sup> December, two of these prisoners have been transferred to prison clinic due to severe stomach bleeding.<\/p>\n In this regard, an informed source told \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u2019s\u201d reporter: \u201cA night before, about 12:30, Khezer Rasoul Morovat and Ali Ahmad Soleiman, due to the deterioration of their condition, were transferred to prison clinic, where they vomited blood.”<\/p>\n The source also added: “The clinic doctors stated that these 2 political prisoners are suffering from severe stomach bleeding, but the prisoners refused to get IV fluid injection and went back to their ward and also back on hunger strike.”<\/p>\n Since 20 November, 29 political prisoners of ward 12 in Central Prison of Uremia have gone on hunger strike to protest against the “dissolution of the political prisoners\u2019 ward in this prison” and “pressures on families of prisoners from the Ministry of Intelligence”.<\/p>\n The number of hunger strikers has reduced to 27 as Mansour Arvand was transferred to prison of Mahabad and Jafar Afshari to the workers ward in Uremia Prison, in order on 29th<\/sup> and 30th<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n On the other hand, Arafat Asghari, Mohammad Abdulbakht and Keihan Darvishi due to their health deterioration condition, ended their hunger strike on 4th<\/sup> December.
