So far, the identities of two of these prisoners, Jasem (last name unknown) and Hossein (last name unknown), also known as Hossein Lor, have been confirmed by &#8220;Breathing in Confinement.&#8221; The full identities of the executed prisoners are under investigation. These prisoners had been sentenced to death for drug-related offenses.<\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Statistics Center of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 46 prisoners have been executed in various prisons over the past seven days. The Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, warning of a new and increasing wave of executions amid tensions with Israel, calls on international authorities to take decisive action to prevent further executions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex max-w-full flex-col flex-grow\">\n<div class=\"min-h-[20px] text-message flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 whitespace-pre-wrap break-words [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5 overflow-x-auto\" dir=\"auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"ec8b6fdf-7e08-41c4-b260-db2fadd79eea\">\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 848 citizens were executed in 2023.
