Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, August 24, 2024, Behrad Ali Kanari, a rap singer, was arrested and transferred to Qom prison to serve his 6-month prison sentence on charges of “collaborating with hostile media to promote propaganda against the regime.<\/p>\n
According to “Breathing in Confinement,” a human rights organization for Iranian prisoners, Behrad Ali Kanari, the rapper, announced in a video clip that after the finalization of his 6-month prison sentence issued by the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court, he would turn himself in to the Qom Revolutionary Court on Saturday, August 24, to serve the sentence.<\/p>\n
Behrad Ali Kanari was previously arrested during the nationwide uprising of 2022 for participating in the memorial ceremony for Hadis Najafi and was later released on bail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
