{"id":499,"date":"2015-01-04T11:58:43","date_gmt":"2015-01-04T11:58:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/?p=499"},"modified":"2015-01-04T11:58:43","modified_gmt":"2015-01-04T11:58:43","slug":"behnam-ebrahimzadeh-passed-day-31-of-hunger-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/labor-and-guilds\/behnam-ebrahimzadeh-passed-day-31-of-hunger-strike","title":{"rendered":"Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Passed Day 31 of Hunger Strike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &#8211; Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labour activisthas passed the 31<sup>st<\/sup> day of his hunger strike in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report of \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u201d, the member of \u201cCommittee for Following the Establishment of Independent Labour Organizations\u201d has gone on hunger strike since 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December, in protest against being transferred to apolitical prisoners\u2019 ward.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBehnam is still on hunger strike. He has become very weak and, he has had stomach bleeding twice so far.\u201d Said his wife in an interview with \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u2019s\u201d reporter<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the prison officials reaction towards her husband\u2019s hunger strike, she said: \u201cSo far, the prison officials have not addressed his demands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Behnam Ebrahimzadeh was transferred to ward 1 of Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj after the court hearing on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December and later on 27<sup>th<\/sup> December, he was transferred to ward 2 of this prison, while he is asking to be sent to hall 12 of ward 4 which is political prisoners\u2019 ward.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, a group of political prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison and Nima Ebrahimzadeh, his son, asked him, considering his serious condition to finish his hunger strike.<br \/>\nBehnam Ebrahimzadeh, has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court on charge of gathering and collusion against the regime and is serving the fourth year of his sentence.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested by security forces on 12<sup>th<\/sup> June 2010 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Revolutionary court and then his sentence was reduced by theappeal court to 5 years imprisonment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &ndash; Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labour activisthas passed the 31st day of his hunger strike in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.
