According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged early Thursday morning, August 29, 2024, in Tabriz Prison.<\/p>\n
The identity of this prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Shahin Yusef Oghli from Miandoab.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, quoting an informed source, Shahin Yusef Oghli, the son of Behrouz, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges related to “drug offenses.” He was executed at dawn on August 29 and buried in Golshan Zahra, Miandoab, on Friday, August 30.<\/p>\n
As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n
