According to “Breathing in Confinement,” the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, on Monday, September 30, 2024, two prisoners held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj were transferred to solitary confinement for the execution of their death sentences.<\/p>\n
These two prisoners had previously been arrested and sentenced to death in connection with drug-related crimes. Their identities are being kept confidential by “Breathing in Confinement.”
\nAccording to other reports, several prisoners accused of “murder” have also been transferred to solitary confinement for execution, and their identities and numbers are under investigation.<\/p>\n
