Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Thursday, September 26, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was carried out in Kerman Central Prison.<\/p>\n
According to \u201cBreathing in Confinement,\u201d the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was executed in Kerman prison at dawn on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The identity of this prisoner, Saman Al-Balushi, has been confirmed by \u201cBreathing in Confinement.\u201d<\/p>\n
Based on a report from \u201cBreathing in Confinement,\u201d quoting an informed source, Saman Al-Balushi, an Arab citizen residing in Kerman, was previously arrested and sentenced to death on charges of murder. The issued sentence was carried out at dawn on Thursday, September 26, in the yard of Shahab Kerman Prison. Prior to this, \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u201d had reported the execution of another prisoner in the same prison on September 23. In end of September, two prisoners were executed in Shahab Prison in Kerman.<\/p>\n
As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n
