His execution, along with 10 other prisoners, was carried out on Wednesday in Qezel Hesar Prison, Karaj.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The identities of three other executed prisoners, <strong>Fazlollah Pournassiri<\/strong> and <strong>Hamzeh Shahbazi<\/strong> (for drug-related crimes) and <strong>Behnam Hossein Dastjerdi<\/strong> (for murder), had already been confirmed by &#8220;Breathing in Confinement.&#8221; In addition to these four prisoners, <strong>Ali Mamshlou and Morteza Abdolhosseinpour<\/strong> were executed for &#8220;moharebeh&#8221; (war against God) due to armed robbery; <strong>Saber Haqmoradi, Moloud Khaledian, and an unidentified woman<\/strong> were executed for murder; and <strong>two Afghan nationals<\/strong> were executed for rape. With the identification of <strong>Siavash Abolhasani<\/strong>, the number of prisoners executed on Wednesday, October 2, in Qezel Hesar Prison, Karaj, has increased to 11.<\/p>\n<p>Among the 11 executed prisoners, only the execution of five, including a woman (whose identity was not disclosed), was reported by the news agency &#8220;Hamshahri Online.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 848 citizens were executed in 2023.
