He was a father of five children and had become involved in an unintentional altercation due to financial difficulties stemming from his wife\u2019s hospitalization. During this encounter, without premeditated intent, he inadvertently caused the death of another person. Last night, his family and friends gathered outside the prison, hoping to secure the victim\u2019s family\u2019s pardon. However, Younes Akhtar Samar was hanged at dawn on Monday, October 14, in Jiroft Prison.<\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 848 citizens were executed in 2023.
