The identity of the prisoner, Reza Mirza Beigi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/strong><\/p>\n As reported by Breathing in Confinement, Reza Mirza Beigi, 30 years old and unmarried, had been arrested on charges of killing his friend Amir Hossein. Despite receiving a significant sum of money from Reza Mirza Beigi’s family, Amir Hossein’s family refused to grant forgiveness. Ultimately, the execution of Reza Mirza Beigi was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, October 15, in Torbat Heydarieh Prison.<\/p>\n As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 848 citizens were executed in 2023.
