The prisoner, identified as Hossein Heydari (also known as Yasin), was previously arrested and sentenced to death on murder charges. Heydari was 20 years old and from Shiraz. Investigations are ongoing to determine if he was a juvenile at the time of the crime. Hossein Heydari was hanged at dawn on Wednesday, 6 November, in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner\u00a0 has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
