The identity of the prisoner, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, was confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p>As per the reporter of Breathing in Confinement, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, son of Karim from Shiraz, had previously been arrested on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to execution. His family was unable to secure consent from the victim\u2019s family, and the sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, November 25, in the yard of Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
