Additionally, two of Mohammad Taqavi\u2019s brothers, Seyyed Ali Taqavi Sangdehi and Seyyed Mojtaba Sangdehi, were sentenced to prison terms.<\/p>\n<p>The prisoners were convicted of charges including \u201carmed rebellion (Baghi) through membership in the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI),\u201d \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security,\u201d and \u201cforming groups or organizations with the aim of destabilizing the country.\u201d Seyyed Mojtaba and Seyyed Ali Taqavi were sentenced to imprisonment. The trial for these political prisoners was held on October 6, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>According to the verdicats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Ali Akbar Daneshvarkar<\/strong> was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI.\u201d Five years imprisonment for \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security.\u201d And 10 years for \u201cforming illegal groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Babak Alipour<\/strong> was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI,\u201d 5 years imprisonment for \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security, &#8221; and 20 years exile in Khash for \u201cdestruction of public property.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Seyyed Mohammad Taqavi Sangdehi <\/strong>was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI,&#8221; 5 years of imprisonment for \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security, &#8221; and 10 years for \u201cforming illegal groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Vahid Bani Amirian <\/strong>was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI,&#8221; 5 years of imprisonment for \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Pouya Ghabadi Bistouni <\/strong>was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI,&#8221; 1 year of imprisonment for \u201cillegal border crossing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Seyyed Abolhassan Montazer <\/strong>was sentenced to death for \u201carmed rebellion through membership in the PMOI.&#8221; 5 years of imprisonment for \u201cassembly and collusion with intent to disrupt national security.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Of these six political prisoners sentenced to execution or imprisonment, Abolhassan Montazer and Seyed Mohammad Taghavi were political prisoners in the 1980s, while Babak Alipour, Vahid Bani Amrian, and Pouya Ghabadi had prior records of arrest and imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Seyed Mojtaba Taghavi Sangdehi<\/strong> was sentenced to 3 years and 7 months of imprisonment for &#8220;assembly and collusion to disrupt national security&#8221; and an additional 3 years for &#8220;membership in the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.
