The identities of the prisoners have been confirmed as Mohammad Ali Kharkouhi (Barahouei), Reza Kharkouhi (Barahouei), Abdolbaset Toutazeh, Abdolnaser Toutazeh, Ne&#8217;matollah Toutazeh, and an unidentified woman.<\/p>\n<p>According to HALWASH, Mohammad Ali Kharkouhi (Barahouei), 36 years old and married, and his brother Reza Kharkouhi (Barahouei), 43 years old, married with four children, were both residents of Zahedan. Abdolbaset Toutazeh, 38, from the village of Geragheh in Nosratabad, Zahedan; Abdolnaser Toutazeh, 38, married with eight children, from the village of Chah Rahman in Nosratabad, Zahedan; and Ne&#8217;matollah Toutazeh, 33, married with eight children and residing in Zahedan, were sentenced to death in a joint case. Additionally, a woman from Yazd, whose identity remains unknown, sentenced to death for &#8220;murder&#8221;, was among the executed prisoners.<\/p>\n<p>According to other reports, Salah Rahimi, a 39-year-old married man and father of three from the village of Malekshah in Sanandaj, was also sentenced to death on charges related to &#8220;drug offenses.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The execution of these seven prisoners was carried out at dawn on Sunday, December 15, in Yazd Central Prison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
