The identities of these prisoners have been confirmed as Jamal Naboure and Rahim Barin.<\/p>\n<p>Jamal Naboure, son of Mohammad and a resident of the village of Khanegi, was arrested two years ago on charges of &#8220;murder.&#8221; Rahim Barin, son of Aziz and a resident of Mahabad, was previously arrested and sentenced to death for the &#8220;murder&#8221; of an officer. The executions were carried out at dawn on Wednesday, December 18, in Mahabad Prison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
