These two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement three weeks ago in preparation for the execution.<br \/>\nA third prisoner, Hamed Pakdaman, from Hamedan, was sentenced to death three years ago for \u201cenmity against God\u201d through armed robbery.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a prisoner named Hassan Ali Yousefi, who had been transferred to solitary confinement alongside the two others, had his execution halted and was returned to the general ward.<\/p>\n<p>The executions were carried out at dawn on Wednesday, December 25, in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
