Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Wednesday, 1 January, the death sentence of at least one prisoner convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was carried out in Yasuj Prison.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was executed on the morning of Wednesday, 1 January, in Yasuj Prison. The identity of the prisoner, Pejman Masoudi Koushk, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n
Based on information provided by Breathing in Confinement\u2019s reporter, Pejman Masoudi Koushk, a resident of Yasuj, was arrested seven years ago on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 1 January, in Yasuj Prison.<\/p>\n
