The identity of this prisoner, Naeem Abdi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p>As per the reported information to Breathing in Confinement, Naeem Abdi, a 22-year-old from Qorveh, was arrested two years ago on charges of murdering Behzad Moazami and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, February 23, in Qorveh Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"mb-2 flex gap-3 empty:hidden -ml-2\">\n<div class=\"items-center justify-start rounded-xl p-1 flex\">\n<div class=\"flex items-center\"><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report of the Statistics Center of the\u00a0<strong>Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran<\/strong>, at least\u00a0<strong>848 citizens\u00a0<\/strong>were executed in 2023.
