Previously, Breathing in Confinement had reported the execution of one prisoner in this facility.<\/p>\n<p>According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, two prisoners were executed in Amol Prison early Saturday morning, March 1. Their identities have been confirmed as Jalal Shahsavar and Arsalan Pasha.<\/p>\n<p>Reports received by Breathing in Confinement indicate that Jalal Shahsavar, a resident of Amol, was arrested in 2021 on charges of murder and sentenced to death. The execution of Arsalan Pasha, also convicted of murder, had been previously reported by Breathing in Confinement.
