The identities of three of them \u2014 <strong data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"760\">Ali Shahbazi<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"785\">Ghorban Karami Nasr<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"806\">Mehdi Salan<\/strong> \u2014 have been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement. The identities of the remaining seven prisoners are still under investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1186\">Ali Shahbazi, aged 45, and Ghorban Karami Nasr, aged 50, are both from Kuhdasht, while Mehdi Salan had previously been arrested and sentenced to death for drug-related charges. The identities of the remaining prisoners are being verified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\">According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
