The executed individual has been identified as Seifollah Nasiri.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Seifollah Nasiri, son of Nasir, married, and a native of Hargalan village in Ajabshir County, was arrested four years ago in connection with a group altercation that led to a murder charge. The victim, according to the official forensic report, died from a gunshot wound. However, witnesses stated that neither Seifollah nor his brother was armed and that the fatal shot was fired from the victim\u2019s own weapon. Despite this and concerns about an opaque judicial process and alleged influence from opposing parties, Seifollah Nasiri was sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 9 April 2025, in Tabriz Prison.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex items-center\"><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\">According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
