Breathing in Confinement \u2013<\/strong> At dawn on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner convicted of murder was carried out in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz.<\/p>\n

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, the prisoner\u2014Mohammad Salamat<\/strong>\u2014was executed early Wednesday morning in Sepidar Prison. His identity has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n

Mohammad Salamat, a resident of Ahvaz, had previously been arrested on charges of murder and sentenced to death. The execution was carried out at dawn on April 30, 2025, in Sepidar Prison, Ahvaz.<\/p>\n
