At dawn on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was carried out in the Central Prison of Shiraz.<\/p>\n

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was executed in the early hours of Wednesday at Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz. His identity has been confirmed as Ali Shafiee.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Ali (Arash) Shafiee, a native of Fasa, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of \u201cmurder.\u201d His execution was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, in Shiraz Central Prison.<\/p>\n
