Breathing in Confinement<\/strong> \u2013 At dawn on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, who had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges related to \u201cdrug offences,\u201d was carried out in Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan.<\/p>\n

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was executed at dawn on Wednesday, 14 May, in Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as Mohammad Naeem Daneshi by the Breathing in Confinement team.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Mohammad Naeem Daneshi, a resident of Ahmadabad, a district of Iranshahr, was arrested seven years ago on charges related to drug offences and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 14 May, in Isfahan Central Prison.<\/p>\n
