Breathing in Confinement \u2013<\/p>\n

In the early hours of Wednesday, 21 May 2025, the execution of at least one prisoner convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was carried out at Tabriz Central Prison.<\/p>\n

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, the execution took place at dawn on Wednesday, and the identity of the prisoner was confirmed as Rouhollah Ghahremani.<\/p>\n

Ghahremani, aged 30 and a resident of Tabriz, had been arrested five years ago on charges of murder and subsequently sentenced to death. His execution was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday at Tabriz Central Prison.<\/p>\n
