These individuals had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of \u201cmurder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"722\">According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners&#8217; Rights League in Iran, two prisoners named <strong data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"591\">Alireza Rezaei<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"615\">Farhad Farahnak<\/strong> were executed at Qom Prison early Sunday morning. Their identities have been verified by the organisation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"1057\">According to this report, <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"768\">Alireza Rezaei<\/strong>, a member of the Shahsavan tribe and a resident of Qom, had been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of murder. <strong data-start=\"888\" data-end=\"907\">Farhad Farahnak<\/strong>, son of Hossein, had also previously been arrested and sentenced to death for \u201cmurder.\u201d The executions were carried out in the early hours of Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
