Breathing in Confinement \u2013 In the early hours of Monday, 26 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, previously convicted of \u201cmurder,\u201d was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, the execution took place at dawn on Monday. The identity of the executed prisoner has been confirmed by the organisation as a man named Farman.<\/p>\n
The report states that Farman, a native of Kuhdasht, was arrested six years ago on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday in Ghezel Hesar Prison.<\/p>\n
