Breathing in Confinement \u2013 At dawn on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner previously convicted of \u201cmurder\u201d was carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, the execution took place at dawn on Tuesday in Khorramabad prison. The identity of the executed prisoner has been confirmed as Sajjad Piri.<\/p>\n
According to the report, Sajjad Piri, aged 23 and a resident of Nourabad, was arrested four years ago on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d during a \u201crobbery\u201d and subsequently sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, in Parsiloun Prison, Khorramabad.<\/p>\n
