The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by the organisation as Ali Akbar Mirzaei.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Ali Akbar Mirzaei had been arrested on charges related to drug offences and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, 26 May 2025, at Shahab Prison in Kerman.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
