Breathing in Confinement<\/strong> \u2013 Report on the protests held on Monday, 2 June 2025:<\/p>\n According to the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, Breathing in Confinement, at least 16 protest gatherings and demonstrations took place across the country on Monday, 2 June 2025.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nationwide Protest by Telecommunication Pensioners in 14 Cities<\/strong><\/p>\n Telecommunication pensioners in the cities of Kermanshah, Bijar, Rasht, Zanjan, Tehran, Tabriz, Marivan, Sanandaj, Isfahan, Khorramabad, Ilam, Sari, Shiraz, and Urmia gathered to protest what they described as \u201csystematic oppression\u201d.<\/p>\n They expressed anger over the non-implementation of Regulation 89\/24, the violation of their rights by the Executive Headquarters of Imam\u2019s Directive and the IRGC\u2019s Cooperative Foundation, and the continued non-payment of overdue entitlements.<\/p>\n During these protests, pensioners chanted slogans such as: <\/p>\n Strike by Workers of South Pars Phase 14 Project<\/strong><\/p>\n Workers at the South Pars Phase 14 project went on strike to protest the non-payment of three months\u2019 wages and the suspension of supplementary health insurance.
