Breathing in Confinement \u2013 At dawn on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner previously convicted on drug-related charges was carried out in Urmia Prison.<\/p>\n
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Urmia Prison in the early hours of Tuesday, 3 June 2025. The individual has been identified as Naser Nabizadeh by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n
According to the report, Naser Nabizadeh, son of Ghorbanali and a resident of Gajin village in Urmia, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on drug-related charges. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, in Urmia Prison.<\/p>\n
