The prisoner has been identified by Breathing in Confinement as <strong>Ahmad Ali Mahdinejad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmad Ali Mahdinejad, a resident of Sahneh (a town in Kermanshah province), had been arrested on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. His execution was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, in Nahavand Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
