They were convicted on charges of \u201ccorruption on earth,\u201d \u201cmembership in anti-regime groups,\u201d and \u201cpropaganda against the regime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Farshad Etemadi-Far is from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, while Masoud Jamei (Bavi) and Alireza Mordasi (Hamidawi) are Arab citizens. The three were arrested in 2023 in a joint case with Saman and Davoud Hormatnejad.<\/p>\n<p>Masoud Jamei suffers from liver cancer and high blood pressure and has been denied access to specialised medical treatment. His wife and three children have also been tried by the Revolutionary Court of Bavi County on charges of \u201ccollaboration with anti-regime groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These verdicts have been issued amid serious procedural irregularities, according to multiple reports. These include denial of access to chosen legal counsel, interference by security agencies in the judicial process, forced confessions under torture, and a lack of transparency in legal proceedings \u2014 all in violation of fair trial standards and Iran\u2019s international obligations.
