The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as <strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"730\">Reza Mir Foroughi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"953\">Reza Mir Foroughi, a resident of Isfahan, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of &#8220;murder.&#8221; His transfer to solitary confinement is considered a strong indication that the execution is imminent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"953\">\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
