During the assault, political prisoners were severely beaten<\/strong>, and their personal belongings were destroyed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The report states that the agents used extreme violence<\/strong>, employing handcuffs<\/strong>, leg restraints<\/strong>, and hoods over prisoners\u2019 heads<\/strong>, forcibly transferring them to solitary confinement<\/strong>. Following this attack, all phone communications between prisoners and their families were cut off<\/strong>, while their health conditions remain unknown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This incident comes amid a broader wave of repression of political prisoners<\/strong>, escalating executions<\/strong>, and illegal exiles<\/strong>\u2014including the executions of Behrouz Ehsani Eslamloo<\/strong> and Mehdi Hassani<\/strong>, and the unlawful transfer of Saeed Masouri<\/strong>, a political prisoner who was exiled to Zahedan Prison<\/strong> after 25 years of imprisonment without a single day leave. These developments have intensified concerns<\/strong> about the safety and well-being of detainees.<\/p>\n Such acts of violence are clear evidence of the systematic violation of human rights<\/strong> within Iran\u2019s prison system. The \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays\u201d hunger strike campaign<\/strong>, initiated by political prisoners, is now recognised as the longest ongoing civil protest inside Iranian prisons<\/strong>.
