{"id":646,"date":"2015-06-22T17:06:20","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T17:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/?p=646"},"modified":"2015-06-27T17:08:00","modified_gmt":"2015-06-27T17:08:00","slug":"latif-hassani-came-to-a-3-day-furlough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/ethnic-minorities\/latif-hassani-came-to-a-3-day-furlough","title":{"rendered":"Latif Hassani Came to a 3-Day-Furlough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &#8211; Latif Hassani, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, has been sent on a 3-day-leave.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report of \u201cBreathing Confinement\u201d, on 21<sup>st<\/sup> June, this Azerbaijani political prisoner was sent on 3 days leave from Hall 12 of Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The political prisoner was on hunger strike, from 18<sup>th<\/sup> May 2014, for 52 days, demanding his transfer to the prison in his hometown, Karaj, and therefore suffers from numerous health problems.<\/p>\n<p>He has a medical history of open heart surgery, before his detention.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International in an urgent action statement, on 4<sup>th<\/sup> July 2014, expressed concern about this political prisoner\u2019s situation and urged for his immediate and unconditional release.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning, he was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment by Branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, on charges of forming an illegal group and propaganda against the regime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &ndash; Latif Hassani, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, has been sent on a 3-day-leave.
